Our home area is Kalamazoo, Portage, Grand Rapids, St Joseph, Allegan, Plainwell, Battle Creek, South Haven, and that whole "zone". We have a broad travel range of 150 miles with no additional fees. Photo + Video Collections
All Day - Photo & Video

Up to ten hours PHOTO + VIDEO coverage hosted online for up to one year. A fully retouched gallery of approximately 700-800 images. Video in the style you love (highlight, long-play, or a bit of both). Permission to download, print, duplicate, and share!
Small Day - Photo & Video

Up to six hours PHOTO + VIDEO coverage. A fully retouched gallery of approximately 550-750 images, a highlight video and a video of your entire ceremony, with all files fully released (permission to download, print, duplicate, and share)!

Our all-day rate will cover up to 10 hours of on-site time with 2 photographers, providing 750-850 fully retouched images with print release in a gorgeous online display gallery, hosted live for up to one full year!
Photo (Small Day)

A half-day option for short and sweet events. Up to 6 hours with 2 camera artists, 550-750 fully retouched files, online hosting, and reprint rights.
Photo (Hourly)

$550 hourly rate with a minimum 3 hour purchase makes $1650 the most budget-friendly option. Perfect for elopements and micro-weddings! Expect a keepsake gallery of 150-300 images! (Available for short notice or off-season dates ONLY).
Videography Options
Video (All Day)

8-10 hours on-site with 2 videographers,
three camera angles, and professional audio, producing an 8-12 minute highlight film and a second fully edited file of your entire ceremony.
Video (Small Day)

Up to 6 hours on-site with 2 videographers, producing a 3-5 minute highlight video and a separate video of your entire ceremony.
Video (hourly)
$1650
This 3 hour minimum purchase will cover your ceremony filmed with multiple camera angles and discreetly hidden microphones. Details, decor, guests, and a romance session will round out this long-form ceremony film. (Short notice and off-season dates ONLY).

Need to go beyond your original time frame? Add any number of hours at $550 for photo OR video and $750 for photo AND video.
(Events that go slightly past the originally planned time frame are not billed. This option is for intentional time extensions).

To use your engagement session as a "test us out" opportunity, book your session at $550, and if we are a fit, the session fee becomes a credit!
PAYMENT PROCESS
When you are sure of your date and would like to lock it in, you can connect to request an invoice or a meet-up! $1250 is my standard retainer fee for your purchase of the date-to-hold. Your collection is then reserved and your retainer fee subtracts from the total cost. The balance payments can remain pending until 6 weeks before the wedding event, or you might want it broken up into quarterly, monthly, or half-payments. Whatever feels right to you.
Digital invoices are paid easily with debit or credit cards, but you are also welcome to mail a check, meet in person for cash/check payments, or use legal cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum. I can mark your invoice "paid" on my end whenever alternative financing is used.
FAQ
How do you photograph weddings?
There are a few different styles of photography. There's a "take charge and direct" FORMAL method, a PHOTOJOURNALIST behind-the-scenes "ninja style", and an EDITORIAL "high fashion" look with softbox light or parabolic umbrellas. Our team is a hybrid of all three. It's awkward to let you struggle alone with how to look romantic during your romance session, so we will absolutely guide and adjust your poses - unless you're absolutely rocking it! And larger groups of people do require a confident voice to gather and position everyone, so we are happy to use a formal style for your professional family portraits. Our team has lots of lighting options for that dramatic, editorial look, but we stay as sneaky as possible during the ceremony (for obvious reasons). Each wedding is co-created with your vision in mind and we are happy to adjust if your event requires more or less of anything. We want what's important to YOU!
Where are you based and do you travel?
Zac and I (Angela) live in Kalamazoo, Michigan, halfway between Chicago and Detroit. And, yes, we travel often! Most of lower Michigan is "home base" for us, and we have teammates and colleagues to partner with for second shooting all across the nation! Travel fees for destinations over 150 miles from Kalamazoo and are simple all-inclusive brackets depending on where your event will be.
When will we get our photos/video?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos typically within 6-8 weeks or so. You can download all the photos from the gallery, share them to social media sites, choose your favorites, and order printed art! Videos take longer depending on the length and style of film you ordered, and are sometimes a bit unpredictable in nature (wind noise can require extra care, a waterfall in the background will add hours while I isolate the best audio file, and sometimes the perfect soundtrack doesn't reveal itself until mid-edit). Plan on about 10 weeks, and reach out for updates if you get anxious! I'm happy to always let you know you how it's going!
Do you do sneak Peeks?
Please let me know if this is important to you. It is not part of my normal workflow, but I would be happy to accommodate. My normal workflow focuses on the continuity of the gallery as a whole, and keeping the colors you chose as true to life as possible. Lighting changes throughout the day tend to shift colors a bit, and I like to make SURE that everything matches well before a gallery is released.
What does the price include?
Each hour I photograph or film requires another 8-10 hours of curating, crafting, and editing! All that "behind-the-scenes" labor is actually what you buy to create your final film or image gallery! Protecting your memories is important too. I am a careful, detail-oriented artist. This means memory cards are backed up twice on separate hard drives before I even start sorting, I save my projects at every step, and I aim to make every photo or film as perfect as it can possibly be. The TOTAL time commitment of each wedding ranges from 45-85 hours of real time! That's why when wedding photographers/filmmakers have six to ten weddings in the queue the delivery times are weeks long! Your purchase also includes reprint rights, reproduction rights, sharing rights, and digital downloads; so please do make copies for grandma or let mom print a bunch at Costco if she wants. We happily release all personal interests so that you can enjoy your artwork!
Do you do other types of photography?
My first love is weddings. I adore them. They heal my soul and inspire me. But each wedding begins a new family. So often prior wedding connections will reach out for photographs of their new baby, extended family, parents anniversary party... etc.
All 2022 Non-Wedding Sessions are booked with at least half your session fee and include retouching on your favorite three poses. $450 for out-and-about in the Kalamazoo-ish area, $650 for a studio location with a makeup/hairstylist available.
