Baseball fans celebrate love on the Fourth of July Weekend - home wedding on Long Lake, Michigan - Heather and JT!

Nothing sweeter than home

Heather and JT are fans of art and baseball. They had planned to host their event at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art, but like many, their plans were altered by the pandemic. Quite a few options were out of the running since SO many brides had to reschedule and re-plan that year, but thankfully, the bride's parents have a wonderful yard facing Long Lake that made for a perfect backdrop for an at-home wedding. They got a tent, an in-house bartender, and brought the art to the wedding with Julia McNally doing a Plein Air live painting during the ceremony! The family pet was the ring bearer (with help from a fabulous nephew), and the flower men were absolutely awesome fun! Logan, from Luxx Entertainment kept the party hopping, while the more laid-back guests chatted by the evening fire and watched the skies light up with fireworks. All-in-all a sweet at-home wedding dream!
