Purchasing a Commando Commission gives you peace of mind. Your photographer (or videographer) WILL show up and deliver solid work. You don't have to worry about the "free friend" flaking out on you, working with the wrong tools, or not realizing how many batteries a wedding day requires. Your commission will be completed by a pro who KNOWS weddings. And at the minimum investment ($675 for 5 hours, you could split the payments into three payments of $225, making this a truly affordable option with excellent peace of mind).
As a second point of support, all files will be backed up and stored for one full year (remember, you go home with one SD card, and your artist will leave with a duplicate card), so if the worst should occur, you still have a backup.
You will also retain the right to request edits later. Editing fees are $30 per image or $2000 for the entire gallery, and video edits are $1850 for a highlight and $800 for a ceremony + speeches + first dance edit ($2500 for both together).
