This is in Mattawan, Michigan friends! The scene is so perfect it could be right out of Twilight! There’s a dark, romantic woods with a lovely path to follow, a lush meadow that glows in the light of the setting sun framed by a backdrop of natural pine trees, and the delicious smell of lavender fills the air. Shades of Lavender is indeed a real-life lavender farm with actual rows of delicate purple and pink blossoms.

Hailey and I spent some time here a few weeks ago photographing this amazing family. These will be favorites of mine for a long time to come! What a gorgeous evening!
