Fun Waterfront wedding - Teal & Mint Green with Pink Roses!
So if you have a LOT of guests you need to accommodate and you're searching for a waterfront wedding venue, consider The Mendel Center at Lake Michigan College. The banquet hall can hold up to 700 people! This wedding had a huge bridal party too! Brianna and Joe opted for the lovely summer color combo of mint green with white day lilies and true pink English roses. Such a joyful color palette! And the friendships were equally beautiful! They celebrated with a bridal party team of 8 guys and 8 girls (in addition to themselves of course) for a total of 18 adults. Add to that number 7 adorable nieces and 2 impressively supportive nephews for a team of 27 altogether! The photo of the nieces seeing Brianna in her dress is one of my favorites!

Ceremony time!
This is the waterfront site in front of The Mendel Center. It's so pretty! AND it gets western light for golden hour!
Party Bus!
At the end of this happy and sunny ceremony, we hopped on a party bus to head to the Lake Michigan overlook near St Joseph for some private bridal party pictures. Then back to The Mendel for the reception at Grand Upton Hall! We had just enough time to get announced, do a first dance, and then head back out to the lakefront lawn for that western light golden hour set. After formals, DJ Larry Bush kept the guests moving all night long - even bringing literal air guitars to the party!
Such pretty, minty greens in this color palette! We had a fabulous time at this all-day event celebrating Briana and Joseph with a huge bridal party, a party bus to take us to Lake Michigan for portraits, an energetic dance party at night and SO many memorable speeches from friends and family! Outdoor wedding venue at The Mendel Center in Benton Harbor, MI with indoor reception held at the same. DJ Frank Hardester with literal "air guitars" for the guests to pass around on the dance floor!
