On a windy afternoon in September, in Gaylord, Michigan, Gabrielle and Joseph's entire family gathered for the weekend to celebrate their wedding event! The bridesmaids wore shades of lilac, dusty purple, and rose which complimented the gorgeous wisteria on Sonshine Barn's ceremonial arch. This venue is deeply romantic, with glowing chandeliers inside and acres of western-facing light for phenomenal sunsets outside!
Reception Desserts
Shout out to Kalamazoo's own Franco's Pizza for the authentic Italian cannoli! Franco is Gabriella's uncle, on-site all weekend creating homemade desserts for their reception. The family was involved in a number of ways and so desserts, officiant, DJ, and lots of the decor was DIY "friends and family" style!
In the center of the Northern half of Michigan's Lower Penninsula is an elegant barn venue, with sleeping space for a whole extended family gathering! What a perfect place to gather and reconnect for a big family event! Gabrielle and Joe honored the matriarchal grandparents (Nonna and Noono in this loving Italian family) by hosting the event on their 60th wedding anniversary!
